Like a lot of guys in the Netherlands, we loved the sauna. The ritual of it — the heat, the cold plunge, the conversations. It was recovery after training, stress relief after work, a weekly reset. But then came the conversation that changed everything.

A friend mentioned he’d been told by his urologist to stop using the sauna while trying for a baby. The heat was killing his sperm. That sent us down a rabbit hole — and what we found was eye-opening. It wasn’t just about fertility. Regular heat exposure to the testicles suppresses testosterone production. The hormone that drives your energy, your recovery, your mood, your drive. Every sauna session was quietly working against us.

The solution seemed obvious: keep the boys cool while the rest of your body enjoys the heat. Targeted cooling. But when we looked for a product — nothing existed. No one had built something specifically designed for men to use in the sauna. So we built it ourselves.
